I was born in Hong Kong and my cooking journey started when I was studying in Japan in year 2000. I had to cook everyday for myself like every other foreign students did. I still remember the days I cooked everyday following the instruction of my first Japanese cooking book “やっぱりおいしい人気おかず ベスト150”! I cooked and ate with my roommates almost everyday and that was one of the best time in my life so far. And now I live in San Jose, Northern California with my hubby and I still cook everyday!
I’m not a professional cook and I can’t explain why I love cooking so much! I guess it’s because i feel that there is nothing more heart-warming and satisfying in the world when people I care smile and enjoy the food I made for them. I am the happiest person in the world when they say “yummy” to my food! I believe everyone can cook, cooking really can be fast and easy, all you need is a little planning and research ahead. I can’t encourage people enough to cook everyday, you save money, your family eat right, everyone is happy! Therefore I’m more than happy to share with you my recipes everyday!
