Ultimate Lemon Pound Cake 究極レモンパウンドケーキ

First of all I have to say that I’m not a big butter cake fan as many of them are too sweet for me, but this recipe rocks!!  The first lemon pound cake I ever had was from Starbucks, Starbucks lemon pound cake is good, I bought a piece of them from time to time until I make this Lemon pound cake!  It is made with a great recipe called “Better than Starbucks Lemon Pound Cake” that I found online.  I love that this recipe doesn’t use any extracts but every part of a lemon!  I have convert the recipe in grams as the weight can be so different measuring by cup!




  • 4 – Lemons
  • 384g – All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon – Baking Soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon – Salt
  • 227g – Unsalted Butter, completely soften
  • 600g – Fine baker’s sugar
  • 6 – Eggs
  • 250g – Sour Cream
